8/1/26 UPDATE: Greetings film family, friends and fans, it's been a while! We have much to share and some exciting news to tell! Mark is doing much better after his second stroke this past winter that left him with paralyzed vocal chords. After 4 surgical procedures at the Cleveland Clinic, Mark is doing great and completed appearances in 3 films so far this year, with 3 more to go! We now continue finishing the filming of our feature length movie "Animals" and a distribution deal with a major horror film distributor for initial theater showings in 2027 has already been inked. In more exciting news, finally, after some much needed re-edits and replacement of one actor, our final cut DVD release for our multi award-winning film "A Vampire's Kiss" has been scheduled for September 1, 2026 and will debut at the Las Vegas "Days of the Dead" convention Labor Day weekend! The dregs fall to the wicked! Stay tuned....
10/9/25 UPDATE: We have some VERY big things going on in 2026 that will REALLY ruffle their feathers! Doubters be damned, mothers will lock their doors and children will weep. True horror fans unite, the terror begins soon! We can't thank you enough for your love, support and encouragement! Now close your eyes and get ready to scream....
7/4/25 UPDATE: Our featue length Boggy Creek movie "Fear the Fouke Monster" has been put off until the spring of 2027. We now move on to finishing our feature length film "Animals" of which half of the principal photography and pre-editing has been completed. Filming will commence in South Florida after the rainy season ends in the early fall. Check back for updates and be sure to come see us at various horror conventions around the country this summer! Mark personally wants to thank all of the fellow actors, directors, producers and especially all of the horror fans worldwide who continue to support us and offer words of encouragement after Mark's stroke last year. He has truly been humbled by all of the love and support from the horror community, especially at the conventions this year! Now it's time to make up for lost time and get back to work. Look out, this next one's gonna be something you've NEVER seen before! For real.
4/1/25 UPDATE: In a shocking twist of fate, Mark Francis and his team of actors and crew were awarded "Horror Film of the Year" for 2024 for "A Vampire's Kiss" at the Los Angeles Stars Film Festival in Hollywood last month, even beating out feature-length films. Much thanks and gratitude to all who worked so hard on this 28 minute film short that has now won close to 400 awards since its release in May of 2024. The final cut DVD will be released in late June 2025! In the mean time, see us at the "Carolina Fear Fest" Memorial weekend in Raliegh, North Carolina! Come up and say hello!
3/6/25 UPDATE: Our 60 day crowdfunding Indiegogo campaign for "Fear the Fouke Monster" did not perform well at all so we shut the campaign down early and will re-launch soon with a better, more concentrated promotional campaign that will hopefully aid us in reaching our goal! Maybe Mark will just reach into the cookie jar and pay for the whole film himself like the first one!
Doing much better his major brain stroke, Mark got back on track with his acting in March and and finished his scenes in Atlanta as "Renfield"at Dracula's castle in Scott Hansen's film "Devour". Here's a quick pic:

1/25/25 UPDATE: Welcome to 2025! What a bang it has rang indeed! A great time was had by all at the Las Vegas "Days of the Dead" horror convention, albeit the chilly weather! We will be doing 6-8 more cons this year and will list them on the "events" page here on the site as they become finalized. Mark and the gang at Scared to Death Films had a special limited edition DVD made entitled "Mark Francis Presents Trailers of Terror" featuring the 3 trailers from our upcoming 2025 film releases and gave out all 200 copies for free! The final release cut DVD of "A Vampire's Kiss" will be finished in the fall of 2026 and released on September 1rst.
12/24/24 UPDATE: Our first public appearance of 2025 will be at the "Days of the Dead Horror Convention" January 17, 18 and 19, 2025 at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. We'll have two tables set up, come up and say hello! Get your tickets online soon, the event often sells out fast! The second and final phase of filming for our feature length film "Fear the Fouke Monster" will commence in early March! After that we will immediately move onto the feature film "Animals" in April and May. Due to the rainy season here in Florida during the summer months between late May and mid September, all we will be doing during the summer of 2025 is conventions and promotional work. Filming of the epic "Southern Death Cult" will begin the 1st week of October! Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all! (NOT Happy Holidays)
10/31/24 UPDATE: The American Horror Movie Association sent us an official letter of notification certifying that our movie "A Vampire's Kiss" has won more awards (over 300) than any other "horrror short" in film history. Congrats to the entire cast and crew who worked so hard on the film so we could make a big splash! Boy did we ever! On to the next!
7/8/24 UPDATE: Big changes and updates are coming to the website soon in correlation of with our national PR blitz! Our first release "A Vampire's Kiss" has now won over 300 awards at various film festivals and horror conventions worldwide. Still have many more to go! We had an incredible time at the "Tampa Bay Screams Horror Convention" over the weekend, where they showed the movie in the main hall and we won "Best Horror Short." This award in particular means a lot to us, as this is a local Florida event under new leadership, with awesome people, awesome vendors and several great films that were shown! Next year promises to be bigger and better, please consider attending!
